Connection Function:
Safely connects the test points on the test block (and therefore the actual circuits or relay terminals) to the test leads of the testing device.
Isolation Function (if applicable):
Many types of test plugs are designed with an automatic mechanism that disconnects the relay from the primary circuit during testing — for example, short-circuiting the CT secondary circuit or opening the voltage circuit — allowing the relay to be tested independently without affecting system operation or posing safety risks.
